About this event:
Executive Function skills impact all subjects in school. Executive Function includes issues such as strategies for organization, time-management, goal-setting, test preparation and self-monitoring. What can you do as a parent to help your child with these Executive Function challenges? This presentation will provide you with practical strategies to help guide your child through these issues.
The program will be presented by Georgia Bozeday, EdD. Dr. Bozeday is Director of Educational Services at Rush Neurobehavioral Center (RNBC) and coordinates school services, both in-services and ongoing RNBC staff support, for the Executive Function Program.
Understanding Today's Students is a collaborative program in cooperation with the staff of RNBC and the Chicago Public Library.
RNBC is an approved provider of professional development credits by the Illinois State Board of Education for teacher certification renewal plans. RNBC is a not-for-profit organization offering continuing education programs to inform teachers of neurobehavioral disorders. 1.5 hours CPDU credit will be given for this program.
