Mad Science of Chicago: The Dirt on Garbage

Become a junior environmental engineer by investigating the way garbage affects the environment and learn what we all can do to make it better! Kids will examine different materials and learn how garbage decomposes. Participants will learn how a landfill works (and doesn’t work) in this fast-paced, fun program just for Green Readers.

Appropriate for Audience: Family program for all ages
