Biographical
- Born September 3, 1934 in Greensboro, Ala.
- Graduated from Alabama State University in 1956 with a degree in chemistry
- After moving to Chicago in 1957, started working for city Sewer Department
- Elected 6th Ward alderman in 1971
- After leaving office, he operated a company focusing first on energy, later on wholesale tobacco.
- Survived by wife Veronica and three children.
- Died January 19, 2008 in Chicago
- Buried in Oak Woods Cemetery, Chicago
