Teens all over the country are celebrating Teen Tech Week from March 9 to March 15. To celebrate, I've picked out a couple books that shine the light on some crazy technology.
What if you could create your own human being from other people's genes? Sounds crazy, right? But in Eve & Adam, Eve is given that exact task. The only difference is she doesn't know she's creating a real human being at her mother's genetics company. She thinks it's just a simulation. I like how you see her life unravel before her eyes. The pace quickens as you see the lengths some people will go to to use technology for their own greedy purposes.
If you could have a feed implanted in your brain to access the Internet all day, every day, would you? The teens in Feed don't have a choice. Some of them start to fight the feed after they get a malfunction and can't access anything. This look into the future is eye-opening and just plain crazy, and I would be terrified if it came true. For others, though, this might be a look into a wanted future where you can awww over cute animal babies and play video games on a whim.

What did I miss?
