Keep warm this winter with the February 2020 Reading Challenge for adults! This month, participants will be entered in a drawing for a Chicago Public Library T-shirt or a copy of The Sixth Extinction, this year's One Book, One Chicago selection.
February's challenge is to read a book about science or nature as part of this year's One Book, One Chicago theme "Season for Change."
Need a recommendation? Here are some suggestions we've compiled:
- If You Liked the Sixth Extinction
- New in Science and Nature
- 5 Inspiring Environmentalist Biographies
- Resolve to Live Green
- Science and Nature
Let us know in the comments which science or nature book you're reading. In March we’ll draw winners from all the entries.
Watch for new challenges and more chances to win in March!
Reading more than one book? Feel free to leave multiple comments, but please note the drawing will include only one entry per reader. CPL staff, feel free to share what you're reading, but please note staff are not eligible to win.
Thanks to the Chicago Public Library Foundation for supporting our challenge.
