On April 30 join niños (children) all over the country for El día de los niños/el día de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day), also known as Día. When author Pat Mora heard that many countries observed Children's Day on April 30, she brilliantly decided to include books, culture, heritage and language to give us a new holiday to disfrutar (enjoy).
