On the third Monday in January, our nation celebrates an American hero, Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. King Jr. had a dream to make the world a better place. He led peaceful protests and marches, using his words, not violence or hate. His determination to serve all people, regardless of race, kept him going. We celebrate this civil rights leader and Nobel Peace Prize winner who helped change our laws so they are more fair for everyone.
