Dunning Branch hosts a Hispanic Heritage Month art exhibit featuring the work of local artist Laura Gomez
Gomez’s exhibit On Which We Live will be on display from September 15 through October 15.
Artist Statement
I am an illustrator/graphic designer based out of Chicago. I obtained a bachelor of fine arts in illustration from The American Academy of Art and currently work as the lead graphic designer, sculptor and artist for a special event company. The work I do as a freelance artist varies and is contingent on the project at hand. I believe that hard work, opportunity and luck has brought me to a place in my life where I get to work on my craft in one way or another all day long. It is truly a blessing. I am currently working on combining my love of graphics with my love of hand-drawn illustration.
