North Pulaski Branch hosts a Polish American Heritage Month art exhibit in October featuring artist Renata Maliszewski.
About the Artist
Renata is from Krakow, a place filled with rich culture and hardworking, creative people. Her sewing skills began there as well, mending clothing or decorating her home with handmade draperies. She came to Chicago and never left. A home away from home, she found love, higher education and finally the time to go back to what she enjoys! With beads and her sewing skills, she is able to capture beautiful moments and scenery from the city she now calls home.
