Sulzer Regional Library hosts an Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month art exhibit through the month of May featuring artist Zelene Jiang.
Zelene Jiang is a visual artist with a global perspective. Her art mingles Western and Eastern elements; the works in this exhibition are inspired by Chinese knotting art and explore the quintessential red hue of Chinese culture in a contemporary art setting. Her work also addresses the gestural flexibility of curved lines and ambiguous forms, and how textual and contextual issues mitigate perception.
