Born to Create brings together 18 artists and 33 works of painting, photography, video art, fashion design and musical composition. The exhibit is in honor of the 2018 Year of Creative Youth, hosted by the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.
Celebrate all the teens' creativity at the Born to Create opening reception at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 12 at Harold Washington Library Center, in the Exhibit Gallery on the 3rd floor. The event features a panel discussion with moderator Priya Shah and selected winners.
Since 2015, CPL’s annual Teen Winter Challenge has provided a platform for teens to express themselves creatively and submit work for review.
