Celebrate Latinx History Month with CPL

Join the Chicago Public Library as we celebrate Latinx History Month from September 15 to October 15. This year’s theme “United in Rhythm, Ritmos unidos” honors music, rhythm, and beats that unite our culture and the rich history we share to maintain our culture and identity.

Opening Program

Start the month off with our Latinx History Month mainstage event at the Harold Washington Library Center. Featuring music, video and live readings from poets including Ana Castillo, Luis Alberto Urrea and more, moderated by Rigoberto Gonzalez.

Library of America Presents: Latino Poetry Anthology Celebration
