The exhibit Sox vs. Cubs: The Chicago Civil Wars opens October 25 in Special Collections on the 9th floor of the Harold Washington Library Center.
For most Chicagoans, the rivalry between the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Cubs is legendary. Fan loyalty to one team or the other appears to divide the City into North Side or South Side, depending where you live. This exhibit features each team's historical development and details; statistical information, photographs, memorabilia, souvenirs and other materials.

The exhibit runs through February 8. It was produced by the Elmhurst Historical Museum, a department of The City of Elmhurst, Illinois.
