Please join the Chicago Public Library this April in celebrating National Poetry Month. Throughout the month of April, Chicago Public Library will host workshops, open mics, readings, and poetry related programs across our different libraries. We hope to bring the joy of poetry to Chicagoans across the many neighborhoods that we serve. Together, we will write poems and engage in poetry with a diverse lineup of poets and presenters featuring a range of poetry programs. We will culminate the month with the 26th Annual Poetry Festival taking place at Harold Washington Library Center on April 26th.
