West Lawn Branch recently hosted Scales and Tales, a traveling zoo presented by Beth Wagner.
More than 50 people of all ages enjoyed meeting some new animals like a sleepy sloth, ultra-soft chinchillas and some 4-day-old chicks!
As Beth introduced the animals, she told interesting facts about each animal. Did you know a hedgehog can have 32 babies at one time and a sloth only goes to the bathroom once a week? Wow!
One of our youngest participants, Olivia, made a new friend.
