We are happy to provide emerging readers an opportunity to practice reading aloud with the Read to the Rainbow Dogs program at the Budlong Woods Branch on Wednesdays, November 5 through December 10. Reading to dogs provides a fun, non-judgmental environment in which to practice reading. Each child is paired with a registered therapy dog for a 10 to 15 minute reading session. Dog volunteers are provided by Rainbow Assisted Animal Therapy. Slots are limited, so register today by calling the Budlong Woods Branch at 312-742-9590.
