All of us who walk through the doors of Chicago Public Library have one thing in common—curiosity. Each visit brings a new opportunity for discovery.
Our Home of the Curious campaign features real Chicagoans and the unique ways they each use Library services and programs to ignite their curiosity—and we're hoping it inspires you to explore new ways to use your library.

Events and Programs
Beyond our collection, YOUmedia for teens is a great resource for the graphic novel lover or aspiring comic book artist. A featured space at 12 locations, YOUmedia combines technology like 3D printers, recording studios and digital design tools with skilled mentors and fun programs. Not to mention, there's a teen lit section that includes plenty of comic books!
Every week in YOUmedia, teens can learn to use digital design tools to illustrate. Woodson YOUmedia hosts a weekly Saturday meetup for whatever you're working on, so share your graphic novel illustrations with the group! Don't want to draw and instead want to discuss? Join Sulzer's monthly high school comic book club.
We know all ages like comics, too, so try your hand at illustrating your own graphic novel with our Maker Lab Comics Drawing Workshop. Even kids can get in on the fun at West Town's graphic novel book club for readers 8 and up.
We have so many ways for you to engage with your community, learn something new and discover something wonderful. To the curious, Welcome Home.
