All of us who walk through the doors of Chicago Public Library have one thing in common—curiosity. Each visit brings a new opportunity for discovery.
Our Home of the Curious campaign features real Chicagoans and the unique ways they each use Library services and programs to ignite their curiosity—and we're hoping it inspires you to explore new ways to use your library.

Events and Programs
Beyond our collection, we've got plenty of ways to find just the thing to pique your curiosity and expand your talents. Celebrate women in history with Women's History Month at CPL every March. Become a woman in tech—learn digital design software and use 3D printers in the Maker Lab, or visit any one of our 80 locations to work with a CyberNavigator to better your computer skills. Are you a woman in the arts working on your voice or music? Book a music practice room at Harold Washington Library Center.
As a Renaissance Woman, you're juggling a lot. Build your financial knowledge and job readiness by attending one of our Money Smart events, including some just for women at our Toman and Edgebrook branches. For the future Renaissance Woman, find your passion in music, art or design in YOUmedia or apply for a summer internship at CPL to explore potential career options.
We have so many ways for you to engage with your community, learn something new and discover something wonderful. To the curious, Welcome Home.
