The Bessie Coleman Chess Club kicked off its Introduction to Chess course this past week.
Children in the community seized the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of chess, from proper terminology to primary moves during game play.
Introduction to Chess will be ongoing Monday evenings until November 23. Players of all ages and levels are welcome to attend.
