Stop by the Chicago Public Library booth during opening day festivities this weekend to learn more about your library, find out what's going on this summer and get a library card. We'll also have a creation station for kids.
The 606 opening celebrates the community spirit that launched this project with lively, participatory events that welcome visitors from throughout Chicago and beyond. Join one of the dozens of processions that will crisscross on the trail-top throughout the day, and check out music and dance at two stages.
