Thursday, February 27, is our first trip to hackerspace Pumping Station: One. If you’ve been to any of our workshops, you’ve heard us talk about PS: One as one of the organizations we love. Learn about who they are, what they do and what it’s like at PS: One. They will give us a tour of the space, show us how to slice 3D models for printing on a Lulzbot and introduce us to an Epilog laser cutter. There are two options for signing up on Eventbrite:
- I’m in, and I’d like to ride the bus! (The bus leaves Harold Washington Library Center promptly at 6:30 p.m.)
- I’m in, I’ve got my own ride! (See you there at 7 p.m.)
PS: One is at 3519 N. Elston Ave. Street parking is available.
Eventbrite registration closes at 6 p.m. Wednesday, but if there is space, we’d love for you to join us!
If you work Thursday nights like some of us do, there will be a second trip scheduled on our calendar in the days to come. To explore on your own, you can also check PS: One’s calendar for public events or orientation, which is one Sunday a month.
Have you been to PS: One since visiting the Maker Lab?
