It's been a while, but we are happy to report that our voracious young readers can once again come together and talk about their favorite reads!
Almost every state has at least one "kids' choice" book award, and we're going to select a book from these lists each month. We hope these award-winning titles, chosen by other young readers around the country, will generate interesting discussion and inspire some creative activities.
Our first meeting is 4:30 p.m. Thursday, November 7. We'll discuss the Newbery Award winner for 2013: The One and Only Ivan.
Yes, we do realize that this is an award given by adults, but we have to start somewhere. Come help us pick out our next "List of the Month Club" title.
