Whoever thought that kids could get excited about knitting? At 6 p.m. every Tuesday, a lively group of kids ages 4 to 12 gather at the Sulzer Regional Library along with parents and volunteers to learn the basics of knitting.
Lively conversation and giggles accompany work with knitting needles of various sizes and colorful skeins of yarn donated by library patrons during the one-hour class.
The number of knitters continues to grow each Tuesday, and newcomers are welcome. Bring your desire to learn and a bit of patience, and you may have a warm and colorful scarf just in time for the winter!
