Have a knack for knitting or crochet, or hoping to learn? CPL locations across the city offer programs for all levels of interest.
Little Italy is hosting a special CPL 150 edition of their Knit and Crochet Circle - join them on Wednesdays to help create a large, pixelated version of the CPL owl by knitting or crocheting many different squares, then sewing them together over time. Supplies will be provided. The finished product will hang in the Little Italy Branch.
We're also excited to see that the Chicago Yarn Crawl's theme this year is celebrating the library's anniversary as well!
