Hyowha Park - Tides of Time II exhibit will be on display at Bezazian Branch through June 28. Originally installed for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Hyowha Park's paintings are so good we begged her to keep them an extra month. Sadly, that month is nearing an end and with it your chance to see some amazingly beautiful interpretations of nature.
How did the Bezazian Branch come across Ms. Park's work, you ask? Well, it turns out that her daughter, Young, is one of our great librarians. And like her mother's art work, she will be leaving us soon to return to Albany Park Branch. In these past two years Young has infused Bezazian Branch with a new sense of possibility and joy through her endless creativity and enthusiasm. We wish Young well as she moves on and thank her for all she has done for this community.
