Learning code is a great way to understand how computers work and gain a valuable skill, and now it's fun, too!
Kids and teens, sign up to play the free online game Code Combat and join the Library Defenders Clan while earning awards for each area you complete. Code Combat teaches you any one of several coding languages (we recommend Python) in simple steps as you move your warrior through different areas, battling enemies and building defenses.
Awards will be distributed on December 9 at 5 p.m. as part of a special event about coding and games.
