You are cordially invited to join the new Lincoln Belmont Book Club for a four-session discussion of George Eliot’s Middlemarch, where savory discussions will be served along with tea.
Eliot’s classic is a complex tale of idealism, disillusion, debauchery, loyalty and frustrated love. Virginia Woolf praised it as, “…one of the few English novels written for grown-up people.”
This bimonthly series will meet at 2:30 p.m. Saturdays: February 8, April 12, June 14 and August 9. You can attend all four sessions or any one session as you like. Come savor Eliot’s tale!
