Teens, take a look at the sky through a telescope at our November Look to the Stars events at Back of the Yards Branch and West Englewood Branch.
Wondering what these events are all about? At our most recent gathering, over 200 people came to Chinatown Square on October 8, which was also International Observe the Moon Night. We had clear skies and could see the moon, Mars and Saturn. Some folks looked through the telescopes about ten times, lining up over and over to get another look.
Congratulations and thank you to Christina and Si at Chinatown Branch for coordinating this fantastic evening with Adler Planetarium master educator Michelle Nichols and two volunteers.
