The regular monthly book discussion group at Clearing Branch had a taste of the classics in December.
On December 14, Clearing Branch hosted a special discussion of CPL's MASTERPIECE™ book club. Participants chose a book with a PBS MASTERPIECE™ Theatre theme to read and discuss: the Downton Abbey-themed title, Lady Almina and the Real Downton Abbey by The Countess of Carnavon.
To get into the spirit of the book, book club participants brought food in the style of an English tea, fine china and exotic teas. One member even dressed the part, arriving in full Victorian dress!
