The Midway Garden Society, a group of local gardening enthusiasts, meets at the Clearing Branch the last Wednesday of each month at 5:45 p.m., except December and January.
Meetings are highlighted by guest speakers, plant exchanges, knowledgeable gardeners, slide presentations of members' gardens and special flowers. There are also a number of special events such as a garden walk in June and a garden show in July.
