Money Smart Week, opens a new window. Launched in 2002 by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, this now nationwide initiative is a public awareness campaign designed to help consumers manage their personal finances. Programs and classes are offered to all ages and cover many timely personal finance topics such as wills and trusts, saving and reducing debt, retirement planning and home buying. An online Calendar of Events throughout the Chicago area is provided.
