The Maker Lab is featuring special guest workshops presented by Pumping Station: One, the Chicago Innovation Exchange and the Chicago Mosaic School. We'll also debut our first Dig Deeper class for those looking to learn more about advanced techniques in 3D printing. Plus, we always offer Open Shop.
Our summer making activities kick off June 20! All kids are encouraged to finish a specially created design challenge, make art or create a paper airplane this summer in Rahm’s Readers Summer Learning Challenge. Teens can get involved in making activities as part of Find Your Way.
Makerspaces, hackerspaces, cultural institutions, business incubators and nonprofits across Chicago are joining together to showcase Chicago and all types of makers through the Chicago Makes initiative. Visit chicagomakes.org for a calendar of activities.
