One Book, One Chicago is pleased to introduce some English as a Second Language events as part of our 2018-2019 season. Partnering with CPL's popular ESL book clubs, two branches offer a special opportunity for people learning English to participate in events exploring our theme, Imagine the Future.
Are you learning English as a second language? Enjoy practicing your English reading and conversation skills with a fun science fiction book discussion. Special ESL books are available at the branches, and librarians are here to help you start to read in English. After you discuss the book, join us for a film screening and practice your conversation skills with others.
