Who are Fred and Priscilla, you ask?
For the Summer Learning Challenge, the Galewood-Mont Clare Branch adopted two Hissing Cockroaches for kids to learn about during our science programs. Madagascar hissing cockroaches are known as great pets and are easy to care for.
Now we'd like you to meet Priscilla!!!
Priscilla and her friend Fred were a hit this summer. They went home with our children's librarian, but visitors continue to ask about them. This was a wonderful way for our patrons to see and learn about Madagascar hissing cockroaches.
