We've been really lucky to have the Rainbow Dogs back for a second session on Tuesday nights at the Northtown Branch this fall.
The Rainbow Dogs are registered therapy dogs provided by Rainbow Assisted Animal Therapy. Along with their owners, the dogs are paired up with a child for a 15-minute reading session. This gives emerging readers a chance to practice their reading in a fun, nonjudgmental environment.
