We got kids ready to "Explore and Roar" by hosting a six week series of "Read to the Rainbow Dogs" at the Northtown Branch. During April and May our kids practiced their literacy skills by reading to registered therapy dogs. It was a lot of fun! The adorable dogs were volunteers from Rainbow Animal Assisted Therapy and the program was sponsored by the Chicago Public Library Foundation. We hope to continue the program in the fall.
