Make Summer Yours with art for all ages at Chicago Public Library. Starting June 28, join us throughout the summer for reading and learning challenges, in-person and online events and more.
Kids
Kids ages 0 to 13 can join Start with Art, our drop-in summer program just for them! Our program can help kids find great books, fun new things to do and track them all summer long. Plus, there are prizes! As part of the program, find art-themed events to inspire self-expression, collaboration with friends and explorations of all the art Chicago has to offer.
Teens
Teens can engage with Make Space. Take Action, through opportunities with art and environmental and social justice. This is a call to action for teens in their neighborhoods, both physical and virtual. Start with a Pick 4 Board and choose how you want to shape your world!
Adults
Adults can enjoy events all summer long for making, crafting and virtual art tours. Celebrate the art of reading with this year's adult summer reading challenge. Fill out our downloadable painter's palette with books you read this summer for a chance to win a prize!
