Relive “Beatlemania” by singing your favorite Beatles songs before a live audience as we commemorate the 50th anniversary of The Beatles’ first visit to the United States. This karaoke-style event for Beatles lovers young and old takes place at 12:15 p.m. Friday, January 24 in the Cindy Pritzker Auditorium at the Harold Washington Library Center.
What’s your favorite: "Michelle," "Hey Jude," "Come Together" or some other Beatles hit? We'll provide the lyric sheets for about 60 Beatles songs and the CD music track for each song.
Selections will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis so everyone can hear a range of songs. Registration is suggested, but not required. Walk-ins are welcome as a listing of songs and sign-in sheet will be available.
To register, or for more information, call (312) 747-4850.
