Stories of Afghanistan: Photographs by Ivan Lo is on display March 13 through May 1 at Harold Washington Library Center, in the Popular Library on the ground floor and the exhibit cases on the 8th floor.
Since 2006, Lo has partnered with numerous NGOs whose projects range from medical care to agricultural development. These vivid photographs reflect his personal experiences and show a side of this war-torn nation often overlooked by Western media.
Lo will give slideshow presentations at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 17 at Albany Park Branch and 2 p.m. Saturday, April 18 in the Chicago Authors Room on the 7th floor of the Harold Washington Library Center.
