Calling all creators, makers and problem solvers!
Motorola Mobility Foundation is partnering with the Chicago Public Library and Citizen Schools to launch a Chicago Maker Challenge for middle school and high school students. They're "looking for student makers, creators and problem solvers to design and make a hardware, software or combined technology that solves a community problem or helps make the world more accessible to people with disabilities."
Attend the Chicago Maker Challenge Launch Party from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. January 30 in the Multi-Purpose Rooms on the lower level of the Harold Washington Library Center.
To participate, register by February 5. For details and information on the registration process, timeline, rules and prizes, visit Chicago Maker Challenge.
