From October 2017-March 2018, teens are invited to get inspired and equipped to pursue careers for the future through engineering programs with Woods Education Enrichment Foundation (WEEF)!
From scientific experiments and logic challenges to engineering projects and mathematical games, this new partnership with tutors and education facilitators from WEEF's STEM Development Program has been designed to expose teens to technical professions and hands-on experiences at the library.
WEEF Interactive STEM workshops expose underrepresented scholars throughout the city of Chicago to the various engineering disciplines. Led by engineers of color, students learn complex engineering disciplines and directly apply them through projects and competitions.
