More than a dozen Chicago teens spent their 2021 summers learning DSLR camera skills and improving their photography under the guidance of lead instructor Jim Kropp from Shine On, Chicago!, with support from YOUmedia and DCASE.
Capturing Beauty in Chicago is a curated gallery of their photography on display at YOUmedia on the 1st floor of the Harold Washington Library Center. All are invited to view 42 striking photos representing different forms of beauty in our city - people, neighborhoods, green spaces, social movements and more.
