Every October libraries across the nation celebrate teens and reading. Created by the Young Adult Library Services Association, this celebratory week encourages teen to use their libraries and read for the fun of it. This year's Teen Read Week theme, It's Written in the Stars, focuses on reading outside the norm of realistic fiction, delving into sci-fi, horror and other such genres.
Teens ca get involved at branches across the city, with these Teen Read Week events, ongoing through Sunday, October 14th.
