Chicago writer and illustrator Leslie Perrine will be visiting the Austin Branch on December 1 to run a teen zine workshop.
Leslie co-founded the Chicago Zine Fest in 2009 and has been working as an advocate for self-publishing ever since. She has written and self-published several children's books, comics and zines. She loves coconut milk ice cream and her cat Bum.
We're looking forward to her visit, and we can't wait to see what the Austin teens will create during this awesome experience.
