Transport yourself to places you’ve never imagined!
- * Read books, magazines, comics, news, articles and/or blogs
- * Review books, interview the authors or create video book trailers
- * Write fanfiction or cosplay as your favorite character
Go
Experience the world right here in Chicago!
- * Document a music festival or street fair
- * Take a field trip to a museum or cultural center
- * Learn about the challenges facing your neighborhood and design your own solutions
- * Explore a new neighborhood, park or historical site
Make
Contribute to our online Teen Chicago Travel Guide and shape the story of our city!
- * Review restaurants or food trucks
- * Take pictures of landmarks and hot spots
- * Interview locals about neighborhood history and create a biographical sketch
- * Submit your work to our Teen Chicago Travel Guide

- * Share your creations on social media with #cplteens or email teenservices@chipublib.org
- * Submit your art or photos to be considered for a special showcase at the Harold Washington Library Center in December 2016
- * Chicago Public Library reserves the right to share #cplteens content and select Teen Chicago Travel Guide submissions on our website and social media (submissions may be edited for content and clarity)

- * Attend workshops, explore your interests and follow your dreams
- * Gain service learning credit for Chicago Public Schools by building your digital badge portfolio through Chicago City of Learning
- * Enter your name in a weekly raffle for every Teen Chicago Travel Guide submission
- * Raffle prizes are reserved for high school students ages 14 - 18 who reside in the City of Chicago
- * Prizes will be awarded at random and distributed by CPL Teen Services at Harold Washington Library Center, including 24-hour Divvy bike passes, Segway Experience Grant Park tour tickets, Wendella architecture boat cruise gift certificates, books and selfie sticks
