Sulzer Regional Library hosts a Women’s History Month art exhibit in March.
Chicago artist Melissa Leandro intuitively overlays contrasting materials, like birthday balloons and dyed cotton, to find unlikely combinations of process. Her practice explores a series of mark making, a collection of symbols and landmark images. Combining old world techniques and new world technology, she moves across media of painting, drawing and textiles.
Please join Leandro for a conversation on weavings and textiles at 2 p.m. March 8 at Sulzer Regional Library.
