This year we had our first ever Teen Summer Challenge, Make Your Imprint, where teens across the city read, learned, created, discovered and achieved. For completing the challenge, teens were entered into a raffle to win an eReader.
Congratulations go out to 16-year-old YOUmedia winner Jaylan F. of Ogden International!
Jaylan is a regular at Harold Washington Library Center’s YOUmedia and participates in a bunch of programs. He didn’t join Make Your Imprint to win anything, he said. He did it because he figured he could read books, like his last favorite Graceling, and do a bunch a cool things. His interest in earning digital badges motivated him, but he was pretty stoked about actually winning the prize. CPL YOUmedia and Teen Librarian, Matt, awarded him the eReader.
