Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow: One Book, One Chicago 2024

Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin was the 2024 selection for One Book, One Chicago.

From September to November, Chicagoans read Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow with other readers across the City. Spanning thirty years, from Cambridge, Massachusetts, to Venice Beach, California, and lands in between and far beyond, Gabrielle Zevin’s Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow examines the multifarious nature of identity, disability, failure, the redemptive possibilities in play, and above all, our need to connect: to be loved and to love. As always, the book is just the beginning! From September through November, One Book, One Chicago explored themes and ideas from the book with programming across Chicago. Community members had the opportunity to not only read this year’s One Book, One Chicago selection, but also browse related recommendations and attend events like book discussions, film screenings, game writing workshops, musical performances, and tours.  Highlights included:
